1. Collected Information and Method of Collection

We collect personal information for membership, service provision, and counselling. We may request personal information for collective statistical analysis or delivery of prize during survey or events. We do not request sensitive personal information such as race, ethnicity, ideology and creed, origin, political orientation, and criminal records, and we will seek for prior consent when it is necessary to collect them. We promise that the information is not used for any purpose other than providing service and purposes other than those previously stated to you.

2. Purpose of personal information collection

We request your personal information for following purposes.

Fulfillment of contract about service provision and charging Provision of content, billing, identification, delivery, purchase and payment, bank service
Management of members Identification, prevention of unauthorized and inappropriate use, verification of age and purpose of joining, verification of consent of legal representative of member under age 14 when collection personal information, handling complaints and sending notices
Marketing and Advertisement Developing and specializing new services, providing service according to demographic statistics, identifying frequency of access, collecting statistics about service, notification of events

3. Consent on personal information collection

We obtain consent on collection of personal information of members and we have procedures for consent to the collection of personal information among member registration procedures. If you check ‘agree to the terms’, we believe you have agreed to collect your personal information.


4. Cases of disclosing personal information

We use users’ personal information within the scope notified in ‘2. Purpose of Personal Information Collection’. We do not open the personal information without prior consent from users, however, exceptions are made n the following cases.

  1. When user agrees to disclose
  2. When there is request from the investigative agency in accordance with procedures prescribed in the Act for investigation purposes

5. Consignment of handing personal information and provision to third parties

Consignment of personal information We entrust personal information as follows, and we have necessary stipulations for safe management of personal information. The details are as follows.

6. Period of retention of personal information

While you continue to use the service, we retain your personal information and use it to provide the service.

Your personal information is destroyed and not restored if the purpose of collection and use (including temporary purposes such as survey, event, etc.) is achieved or you directly delete the information or withdraw from the service.

We may keep your personal information for one year from the termination of the service contract, in case of request of investigation cooperation about violation of rights or defamation, and prevention of abuse of rights.

We keep your personal information for a certain period as prescribed by relevant statutes, such as the Commercial Act, the Electronic Commerce Act, Consumer Protection Act, etc. We use your information for the purpose of storage only, and the retention period is as follows.

7. Destruction of personal information

You can view of correct your registered personal information at any time and you can request withdrawal. You can view and modify your personal information after logging-in and changing your information on the website. You can modify anything except your ID and name. You must carefully consider whether to withdraw from the website because registered information about you is destroyed when you withdraw, and there may be restrictions on re-entry.

Procedures and method of destruction of personal information are as follows.

Procedure
  • Entered information is transferred to a separate DB after the purpose is achieved ( in case of written form, it is transferred to a separate box ) and destroyed after being stored for a certain period in accordance with our policy and related statutes.
  • The personal information is not used for any purpose other than to be retained, except for legal reason.
Method
  • Personal information printed on paper is shredded or destroyed by incineration.
  • Personal information stored in electronic file form is deleted in a technical method that precludes restoration.

8. Rights of users and their legal representatives

Users under age 14 and their legal representatives may inquire or modify their registered personal information and request termination of membership at any time.

In order to view or modify personal information, click ‘modify my information’ and in order to withdraw from the website, click ‘withdrawal of membership’.

Or contact the person in charge of personal information management in writing, by phone, or by email, and we will take action.

We do not use or provide personal information of users who have requested for correction until the correction is completed. If the wrong personal information has already been provided to a third party, we will notify the third party of the correction so that the correction can be made.

We use terminated of deleted personal information as specified in ‘retention and utilization period of personal information’, and we do not read or use it for other purposes. User can request for viewing, correction, deletion, and suspension of personal information in accordance with relevant statutes.

We notify our action within 10 days and you may submit requests about your personal information to us.


9. Automatic collection device of personal information and rejection to it

  3. We limit access to personal information to those who perform their duties and other staffs are prevented from accessing personal information.
  4. We regularly and frequently educate staffs who handle personal information about related matters.
  5. We maintain and regularly monitor the access records of the personal information processing system.
  6. We have protective measures when printing and copying personal information.

11. Personal information of children

We do not collect personal information of children under age 14, however, their information can be collected in special cases, under consent of their legal representatives.

We are doing our best to protect your personal information and you should also be careful not to expose your password. Always be careful not to leak your password in computers installed in public places.

We do not ask you for your password via phone or email in any circumstance. Therefore, it is recommended that you use your ID and password only by yourself and change your password frequently. We are doing our best to protect your personal information, but we are not responsible for leakage of personal information attributed to your mistake, as long as the leakage is due to our negligence.
