[Munhwa News MHN Jun Eonsil / Translated by Halim Jung] Yun Sung-hyungs 'Time to Hunt' has its Netflix reveal put on hold.

Originally planned to have its Korean theatrical release on February 26th, 'Time to Hunt' had to have its release and events canceled due to the rapid escalation of the COVID-19 pandemic. As the situation held, plans were to have its opening on Netflix on April 10th to 19 countries.

This was the first time a Korean movie moved to streaming platforms before a theatrical release. However, due to contractual issues 'Contents Panda', the company responsible for the film's international sales, claimed that distributor 'Little Big Pictures' violated its contract by signing an exclusive deal with Netflix after its international rights were already sold.

The Seoul Central District Court ruled in favor of 'Contents Panda' on April 8th, and the termination of the contract between the two parties.

Due to this ruling it has become impossible to release 'Time to Hunt' through Netflix, as they decided to halt its release both locally and internationally. It has become unclear when fans will be able to watch 'Time to Hunt', as the GV planned has also been cancelled.
