[MHN Jung Halim reporter] The poster for '#Alive', which stars Yoo Ah-in and Park Shin-hye, has been revealed.
'#Alive' is about a unidentified disease causing people to attack others randomly, like zombies. It soon results in the disappearance of wifi, texting, and calls, leaving our protagonists stranded in an apartment, with the movie being a survival thriller.
The revealed '#Alive' trailer captures the eyesight with a strong and fresh visual, showing a survivor in the midst of a city out of control. We see 'Joon-woo', played by Yoo Ah-in, hanging on a railing, trying desperately to get a phone signal while avoiding zombies. The poster shows a world without wifi, internet, texts, or being able to call, and shows him as a lone survivor in a disconnected world.
Another poster shows Joon-woo and 'Yoo-bin', played by Park Shin-hye, isolated in an apartment building by zombies. The poster also shows the hastags #SeoulKorea, #AM06:24, #InternetCut, predicting a tense story with an unpredictable plot.
This new poster especially raises expectations on Yoo Ah-in's transformation into Joon-woo, showing a character forced into a corner through his usual fresh acting. Park Shin-hye is also expected to show Yoo-bin as a calm but fierce character, putting some fire into the film.
'#Alive' is expected to premire late June.
