Mnet 'Produce 101' 2017

[MHN Roh Pooleun] AB6IX's member Lim Young Min will not be taking part in the team's future schedules after being caught driving under influence on May 31.

Lim's agency Brandnew Music announced to put eternal hiatus on his future activities as idol.

Accordingly, the group will carry out future schedules as a team of 4-members and the release of group's EP 'Vivid' originally sceduled on June 8 has been postponed until June 29.

The sudden hiatus of member has caused tasky work on tv shows the group was appearing. LG U+'s 'Idol Live' canceled broadcasting 'Boo Quest' and Ment's 'Good Girl' will edit out parts where Lim appears.

Lim uploaded his handwritten apology letter on his social media. "I am deeply sorry for disappointing people and fans. I feel very pathetic and pained that I have hurt my members. I also want to apologize sincerely to my agency" said Lim in his letter.

This is not Lim's first time becoming controversial. He was under contrvery of uploading a picture with his girlfriend on Instagram while he was appearing in Mnet's 'Produce 101' series in 2017. He was again under controversy in the same show for begging fans for voting on him in secret chatroom and exposing spoilers. He apologized for his blunder at that time.

The controversial idol member finally put an end to his career by drunk driving.
