[MHN Roh Pooleun] tvN's new drama 'It's Okay to Not Be Okay' first airs June 20, 2020 in South Korea.
Starring Kim Soo-hyun and Seo Ye-ji, the drama's poster is captioned by 'A rather odd romantic comedy'. Besides the intriguing caption, the drama is getting hot attention after announcing that Kim Soo-hyun will appear, who has not been seen in dramas for five years.
The drama is a story about a man employed in a psychiatric ward and a woman, with an antisocial personality disorder, who is a popular writer of children's books.
Moon Kang-tae(Kim Soo-hyun) works in the psychiatric ward. His job is to write down patients' conditions and to take control of unexpected situations such as patients fighting or running away. His brother Moon Sang-tae(Oh Jung-se) has autism spectrum disorder(ASD) and is a big fan of Ko Moon-young, a popular children's literature writer.
Ko Moon-young(Seo Ye-ji) is a popular writer of children's literature, but she has antisocial personality disorder, and is an extremely selfish and arrogant person. She can't sympathize with other people's emotions and has never loved anyone.
The original Korean title is 'It is Okay to be a Psycho' literally and the general title goes as 'It is Okay to Not e Okay'. Will the two main characters be able to fall in love when they are both not 'okay'?
The drama takes over tvN's Sat & Sun 9 PM(KST) time slot previously occupied by 'When My Love Blooms' and followed by 'Stranger Season 2' August, 2020.
Other casts are Oh Jung-se, Park Gyu-young, Kim Joo-hun, Kim Chang-wan, Kim Mi-kyung, Park Jin-joo and more.
The drama will be first-aired June 20, 2020 through tvN and Netflix.
