[MHN Roh Pooleun] Mamamoo's Hwasa is appearing on the cover of fashion magazine 'Cosmopolitan's August edition.
She talked about her new song 'Maria' : "I wanted listeners to look back on themselves and be consoled through the song" and added "The song contains my feelings in the past and now".

About a comment that track songs in her new album seems to refer to her six years in music industry, she said "I felt it is hard to stay firm all the time" and added "I am still not perfectly firm and I go moody sometimes but I am coping well".
Hwasa appeared in MBC's show 'I Live Alone' again in a long time, and is appearing in a digital spin-off program 'Girl's Private Party' with Han Hye-jin and Park Na-rae, who were members of 'I Live Alone'. Hwasa said "I met them in a long time and they told me 'You did well' as if they know about the hard times I had. It consoled me a lot".

She said she meets Mamamoo members and talk about future plans and concerns together, saying "We have a secret place just for us. We talk to each other a lot in there. That is where we become closer".
She added she wants to keep making music and perform her songs. "I remind myself 'Today can be the day I broke' every morning as I wake up. This is a mindset I'm trying to have and I strengthen myself this way. Popularity doesn't last forever and I want to enjoy my time", she said.
Recently, Hwasa released a teaser video of music video of a track song, 'LMM(Lost My mind)', from her new album 'Maria'.
More interview and photos can be seen through August issue of 'Cosmopolitan' and official website.
