'Creative Academy' video revealed... Warm reception from fans

[MHN Chae Doshik reporter] Group ITZY and global creative studio LINE FRIENDS meet to create new custom characters.
This new project is a new form of character IP collaboration, with it not only involving the infinite creativity of ITZY and the standalone creative ability of LINE FRIENDS, but also participation from fans.
The members will be enrolling in LINE FRIENDS' 'Creative Academy', and will be creating their own characters with the theme 'An Eternal Friend for You and I', all while going through missions with fans.
ITZY have stated that they have been fans of Brown, Cony, and Sally of LINE FRIENDS before, and have suggested various different concepts and ideas to the crew to create new characters ever since their enrollment.
The members participate in all steps of the process for character development, as they create the 'Eternal Friend' characters and their personalities, worldviews, and indentities, while LINE FRIENDS will be heading the planning the design and business side of the deal.
The fans can also participate in the design of the personalities and the names during live broadcasts, adding a new dimention of fun.
On August 13th, a behind-the-scenes video dealing with ITZY's enrollment to the 'Creative Academy' was uploaded to ITZY and LINE FRIENDS' offical Youtube channels, with fan participation from all over the world following soon after.
ITZY's enrollment ceremony to 'Creative Academy', first revealed on July 12th through NAVER V LIVE, had 280 thousand viewers, with 40 thousand on chat.
LINE FRIENDS' is to reveal more behind-the-scenes videos and character development stages with ITZY's various appearances through their social media channels, with the final finished characters being revealed by late this year.
The finished characters will be shown off through messenger stickers, animations, and other character products.
A LINE FRIENDS representative stated that "The characters born through this program will contain ITZY's energetic charms and the favor from fans, and so will be an IP with a different draw, something that millenials and zoomers all over the world will love."
