[MHN Roh Pooleun] Blackpink is on the cover of fahsion magazine 'ELLE' U.S. edition.
The edition revealed cover posters of Blackpink members on the 18th. The poster features all four members and the headline goes : The future is Blackpink, the biggest girl group in the world.
The magazine introduced Blackpink as the next girl group to lead the pop scene as past global idols Spice Girls. They agreed deeply with composer Bekuh Boom's past remark "Blackpink will make the standart of 'girl group' in U.S".
The magazine also noted that Blackpink has collaborated with global pop artists Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, and Selena Gomez, and that all four members are working as global ambassadors of each different fashion luxury brands.
Blackpink's songs are making enormous hits. Their collaboraion song wih Lady Gaga, titled 'Sour Candy' was hit, and their pre-release singles 'How You Like That' and 'Ice Cream' were global hit, too. The hitmaker group will drop their first LP 'The Album' on October 2nd.
Blackpink's collaboration song with Selena Gomez, titled 'Ice Cream', landed no.13 on Billboard Hot 100 Chart, setting record for a K-pop female artist, and the song has also landed no.8 on Billboard's new 'Global 200' Chart.
