Seventeen released their new special album '; [Semicolon]' on October 19th, 6 p.m. KST, sweeping the top of local music charts soon after.
Seventeen, who have comeback more mature with the title track 'HOME;RUN', which alternated between first and second on the VIBE, Melon, Bugs, Genie, and Soribada charts. 'Do Re Mi', 'HEY BUDDY', 'Light a Flame', and 'AH! LOVE', all tracks off of the new album, also ranked high on the charts.
The album ranked first on the Hanteo live charts, the biggest music chart in Korea, as well as YES24, Hottracks, and other charts.
'; [Semicolon]', which captured the hearts of fans worldwide as soon as it was released, is a message about 'resting a bit and enjoying the smelling the scent of youth' to the generation of today. It gave a warm hug and cheered them on with Seventeen's own brand of retro mood and youthful expression to listeners.
The impactful title track 'HOME;RUN', with its message of 'It's okay to just rest for a while', was able to relate to the young ones, and was able to show that Seventeen were still able to send a home run like its title.
With '; [Semicolon]' released on October 19th, Seventeen are set to go on their promotional activities, starting with a performance on 'M Countdown' on October 22nd.
