On November 17th, agency Big Hit Entertainment stated that the video reached 600 million views at midnight that day.
This is BTS' 9th music video with 600 million views, following 'DNA', 'Boy WIth Luv', 'Fake Love', and 'IDOL'.
Released on August 21st, 'Dynamite' is a disco pop 'healing' song by BTS that sends a message of hope to those having a hard time from the COVID-19 pandemic.
It took the No.1 spot on the Billboard 'Hot 100' charts for three weeks straight, and is continuing to stay within the top 10 for 11 weeks.
According to Billboard, 'Dynamite' also placed high in the 'Billboard Global 200' and 'Billboard Global Excl. US chart', ranking 5th and 4th respectively.
The 'Dynamite' music video garnered views records for Youtube when it was released, such as having 30 million simulatanious viewers and anew record for Youtube Premium users. It also got 100 million views in just 24 hours, the most views a Youtube video ever reached in that time period.
