
[MHN Jung Halim reporter] Group Super Junior are set to collaborate with an American agency, and to further spread their influence to the global market.Agency LabelSJ stated that Super Junior signed an agency contract on November 24th with American ICM Partners for all global activities outside of Asia.
John Pleeter, Vice President of Concerts for ICM Partners, stated, "We are thrilled to represent the kings of the Korean Wave, Super Junior. Along with Label SJ, we look forward to growing the Super Junior brand across the media landscape, including global touring, marketing, business development and strategic partnerships.”
ICM Partners is a massive media agency located in Los Angeles, with branches in New York and London.
Artists from Beyonce, Niki Minaj, Kalid, Samuel Jackson, Orlando Bloom, Uma Therman, Megan Fox, John Cena, and more are associated with the agency. Recently Chungha, Momoland, Alexa, and other K-POP artists have signed in with them.
American publication Variety reportered on the contract signing, as well as introducing the group's albums and award wins.
Variety stated, “The group released its debut album in 2005 and broke through internationally with their 2009 song ‘Sorry Sorry.’ Over the years the group has won 13 Mnet Asian Music Awards, 19 Golden Disc Awards and U.S. Teen Choice Awards for International Artist and Best Fandom and released more than 30 albums in Korea and Japan, including nine studio albums.”
Debuting on 2005, Super Junior met their 15th anniversary this year. They are set to release their 10th studio album 'The Renaissance' next month.
