The MAMA 2020 ceremony organized by CJ E&M will air live on December 6 at 6PM KST, and red carpet will be broadcast from 4PM KST. This year's ceremony' theme is 'NEW-TOPIA,' throwing a message about the advent of new era we are facing.
This year's ceremony is the 22th in its history. It is the first time in 11 years that MAMA will only take place in South Korea. The ceremony has always been held in Hong kong.

Online voting opened on the official MAMA website and Twitter on October 29 and closed on December 5.
MAMA rewards four main awards : Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Worldwide Icon of the Year.
Yesterday, the upcoming award ceremony announced that the two singers will join for a unique cover of Rain's smash hit 'Gang'.
The two people had become bandmates for a brief time in SBS's variety show 'How Do You Play?' project group 'Refund Sisters' and dropped song 'Don't Touch Me.
