[MHN Roh Pooleun] Suzy, Nam Joo Hyuk, Kim Seon Ho, and Kang Han Na starring K-drama 'Start-Up' ended over the weekend!
The drama takes place in South Korea's fictional version of Silicon Valley where young starters set out to achieve success in the world of startup companies. Suzy stars as Seo Dal Mi, an adventurer who dreams of becoming Korea's Steve Jobs, while Nam Joo Hyuk plays the role of Samsan Tech founder Nam Do San. The final episode aired yesterday (Dec 6) saw the main roles of the drama going on a tense war of nerves as they search on for better employees and better products.
Seo Dal Mi (Suzy) and Nam Do San (Nam Joo Hyuk) work together in Cheongmyeong Company submitting Tarzan for the Smart City bid with Do San promising to propose to Dal Mi if they win. Han Ji Pyeong (Kim Seon Ho), the other main role, is trying to win Dal Mi's heart, too. The last episode, however, showed Dal Mi choosing to be with Do San during the rest of her life.
Ahead of the final episode, the main cast of tvN's 'Start-Up' shared their closing comments.
Suzy shared, "This drama was filmed for eight months. I thought when it ends, I will feel much less burden but as for now, I feel sad that it ended. During the eight months I spent in my role as Seo Dal Mi, I was so happy and I learned a lot. I will not be able to forget the moments I've spent with other actors and staffs and I am so thankful for that. I hope people remember our characters and love them."
Nam Joo Hyuk shared, "While the eight months, I sometimes felt it's too long but when it's over, I feel it is too short. I feel much lighter, sad, happy, and mixed. I learned a lot while working with the drama team and I am so thankful for Suzy who has worked with me together as a partner. I was so happy, too."
