[MHN Lee Jisook reporter / translated by Jung Halim] TWICE will be having a special online livestream on March 3rd.
TWICE have announced the live event "TWICE in Wonderland" for March 6th 7PM KST. The event will be utilizing AR and MR technology, and will make it feel as if fans are watching a concert right in front of them.
The event will have the theme of TWICE utilizing everyone's lost imagination to meet again in TWICE's wonderland, and has fans hyped up to see what performances the group will bring. The online live poster revealed by JYP Entertainment on January 28th has the group wearing colorful outfits, as well as having the nine members look like dolls.
They had the "TWICE DOME TOUR 2019 #Dreamday", having them become the first K-Pop girl group to perform a dome tour in Japan, as well as them having the record for the shortest time since a debut for a foreign act to perform at the Tokyo Dome. They also had the Japanese arena tour "TWICE WORLD TOUR 2019 'TWICELIGHTS IN JAPAN'", where they gathered experience for performing on an online stage.
"TWICELIGHTS IN JAPAN" was originally supposed to be have two more dome performances, but due to unforseen consequences it has been delayed and canceled.
Last year, on August 9th, they also shared their first solo online concert "Beyond LIVE - TWICE : World in A Day" with fans from 126 countries. It used a Motion Control Camera system to have 18 different TWICE members appear at once, or have visual effects that could only happen in a digital space.
