[MHN Yoo Subin reporter / translated by Jung Halim reporter] The song "Film Out", a collab single by BTS and Japanese rock band "Back Number", has been chosen to be the theme of the Japanese film "Signal".
Releasing on April 2nd, the film "Signal" is based on the Korean drama of the same name.
BTS have previously sung the theme for the Japanese remake of "Signal", called "Don't Leave Me".
BTS member Jungkook participated in the composition for "Film Out" as well. The song was done by Back Number member Iyori Shimizu making a melody, and Jungkook adding a new melody to accompany it.
BTS stated that, "When we received the demo from Shimizu, we were drawn to how great the melody was. Because it is a ballad where the melody and lyrics are both pleading, we think it'll be a song that will touch the hearts of whoever is listening."
