Baekhyun scheduled to enlist on May 6
[MHN Roh Pooleun] Million seller idol Baekhyun's newest album 'Bambi' has sold over 760,000 copies on first day(March 30).
The new album 'Bambi' is expected to breach the one-million sales mark in the coming days, following his 2020 album 'Delight' which sold more than one million copies of physical albums both as a soloist and as a group since Seo Taeji in 2000.
'Bambi' carries six R&B love songs, including the namesake lead track, 'Love Scene' and 'Cry For Love.' It is his third solo project, following 'Delight' (2020) and 'City Lights' (2019).
The album topped iTunes albums charts in 56 nation upon its release, according to Baekhyun's agency, SM Entertainment. Sad news is, Baekhyun is set to enlist on May 6 and it was his last release before starting his compulsory military service.
The 28-year-old singer set to enlist on May 6, will be the sixth EXO member to enlist in the military after Xiumin, D.O., Chen, Suho and Chanyeol. The first two have already completed their service.
Baekhyun, who made his K-pop debut as an EXO member, has made his presence felt on the Korean pop music scene not only as a lead vocalist of the nine-man band but also as a soloist.
