[MHN Jeeyoung Shin reporter] The sci-fi action film 'Seobok', featuring Gong Yoo and Park Bo-gum, will be released on April 15th both in theaters and CJ's OTT service. Ahead of its launching, the pictorial of the two leading characters has been released by 'Cine21.'
Two heartthrob actors are appearing together in a film for the first time. 'Seobok' was originally slated for theatrical release in December, but this got delayed by COVID-19.
Under the pandemic situation, the film is releasing on TVing as well. TVing is Korea's No.3 online streaming platform with 2.41 million monthly active users, running by CJ ENM. The company said it will invest 400 billion won '$356 million over the next three years to secure quality content across genres for the platform.
On April 12, the film magazine 'Cine21' released the behind-the-scenes video from the pictorial that Gong Yoo and Park Bo Gum participated in long before Park Bo Gum enlisted into the army.
The two actors' brotherly chemistry was outstanding during the magazine pictorial filming. Gong Yoo and Park Bo Gum continued to play around and joke with each other while showing off their modelesque physiques with suited outfits.
Meanwhile, the film 'Seobok' will be premiering on April 15th with having dual streaming and theatrical releases.
