[MHN Jeeyoung Shin reporter] WM Entertainment has announced absence of Oh My Girls' Mimi on the group's comeback showcase, which was held on May 10 at 4 PM KST.
The agency mentioned through Oh My Girl's official social media to announce that Mimi is currently taking a break after experiencing sudden dizziness and vomiting earlier that morning. They asked for favor as the other six members appeared at the showcase without her, adding that they will continue to support their artist's health and recovery. The statement did not mention whether or not any further schedules will be affected.
Previously, Oh My Girl’s Kim Ji-ho, known by the stage name Jiho, took a break due to health problems regarding anxiety attacks. She had been suffering health issues, including anxiety disorder symptoms, and has had treatment for them since last year.
Oh My Girl is made up of Hyojung, Mimi, YooA, Seunghee, Binnie, Arin, and Jiho, debuted in 2015 with the mini-album ‘OH MY GIRL.’ JinE left the group in 2017 after taking a year’s break due to health issues.
Meanwhile, Oh My Girl's 8th mini-album 'Dear Oh My Girl,' with the title track "Dun Dun Dance," is set for release at 6 PM.
