Korea's favorite pop band Maroon 5 has released their sixth studio album [Red Pill Blues] on November 3rd.
[Red Pill Blues] is a blend of current hip-hop and EDM trends, the latest project the group has yet unveiled over three years since their fifth studio album [V] released in 2014. With a line-up of top-class featurettes, the album is about Maroon 5's experimental taste n music and variety while keeping their cool. The album not only contains the latest hip-hop and EDM sounds, but also ranges from pop, rock, reggae, R&B, and many more genres proving the band's effort in evolving from a typical band format.
[Red Pill Blues] enlists 14 tracks including the tropical track 'Don't Wanna Know', a heartbreaking love song 'What Lovers Do', 'Help Me Out' which is written and featured by 2017's hottest newbie, Julia Michaels and a minimalistic ballad track 'Whiskey'. This is all featured in the standard version of the album while the deluxe version includes six more tracks of live performances at the Manchester Arena in 2015 of June. 'Plastic Rose', originally a digital release is also featured on the album and all streaming sites.
J.Kash, the incredible hit-song producer who wrote Maroon 5's mega-hit song 'Sugar' and many other songs for Ariana Grande, and Selena Gomez is the executive producer for this album. Charlie Puth, another rising singer-songwriter also collaborated in writing and producing 'Lips On You'.
One of the pre-released singles, 'Don't Wanna Know' has a feature of Kendrick Lamar, Grammy's hottest rapper last year topping universal charts and now hitting over 340,000,000 views on YouTube.
Maroon 5 is now planning a US tour and will soon be traveling around 30 different countries fixing over 120 touring events.
Maroon 5 is a three-time Grammy winner, with 12 tracks that marked TOP10 of Billboard's Single Chart, one of the most successful band in Billboard history. The band also raises awareness of environmental issues and societal problems by donating and supporting organizations like the Red Cross, UNICEF, and more building not only a perfect music career but also a great heart for the world.
