[MHN SEOUL] BTS is no doubt 2017's best K-pop group, and their legacy is still ongoing.
On January 2nd, the group's 'MIC Drop (Remix)' music video hit 1billion views on YouTube. It was a sensational track involving global acts such as Steve Aoki and Desiigner since its release.
As being 2017's hottest boy band, their personal lives are also on the watch. Last December, it's known that the group moved their housing to a luxurious house in Yongsan-gu of Seoul, 'Hannam The Hill'.
According to officials, the group moved for security reasons. With soaring number of fans, the group needed an independent space that allowed a personal life. It facilitates a fitness club, a golf field, a swimming pool and is known as Seoul's most expensive apartment.
BTS received 'Top Social Artist' last May at the Billboard Music Awards, and also hit number 10 on '2017's Top Artists' from Billboard's end of the year chart.
'DNA' from the group's latest album, 'LOVE YOURSELF 承 ‘Her' was the only 'K-pop song' that made it to Billboard's '2017 Best Song 100' as number 49. The boys were also invited to perform at one of America's top three music awards; the 'American Music Awards(AMA)' in November. It was a first time for any Korean artist to perform on that stage.
Meanwhile, BTS will be holding a fan meeting at the Gocheok Skydome over two days on January 13th and 14th. It will be with their global official fan club, 'ARMY', the event titled as 'BTS 4th MUSTER - Happy Ever After'.
